Rendezvous Coffee & Tea, Galena, is a full service espresso bar serving the finest in European style coffee, espresso drinks and a variety of brewed loose leaf teas. We provide in house or take away service for our Intelligentsia beverages, which can be prepared either hot or cold. Light fare such as fresh baked breads, quiche and pastries are provided by Galena's own Cynthia at Extra Batch.
Rendezvous is also a fine art gallery and the owners, musician Steve White and artist Alice McMahon White, host art openings and music events throughout the year. Relax in the vintage ambiance of the elegant yet comfortable space designed by Alice and daughter Teagan White.

Charmed at first sight by the historic town of Galena, Illinois, we decided to purchase property here and open a coffee and tea house, soon after our first visit in summer of 2009. The 150+ year old three-story brick building with store front at 112 North Main Street became our home in May of 2010.
The arts are our first love, and Rendezvous Coffee & Tea features an art gallery highlighting the work of owner Alice, as well as many artists from all over the U.S. and beyond. Music is a high priority for us and Steve will present his own keyboard and guitar compositions and host other live scheduled and impromptu music events.
